Snowboarding. Olympics 2006
Watched some of the snowboarding on Sunday. One of the commentators mentioned the the snowboarders don't seem to take the competition seriously and see the games as a chance to show off. What a breath of fresh air! There are few things more annoying to me than sport being taken too seriously.
These guys look über cool and are clearly phenomenal athletes — great television!

I was watching that too, Snowboarding is a cool sport. You can't get too worked up about it. As for taking it seriously did you see any of the Luge? Wow! 140kph on a one man sled and the winner was a cool as a cucumber! Italian too. Can't wait for the Skeleton, that's even faster! I think I prefer the winter olympics to the summer games.
