Pulverising the Octopus!

The Linkword system of learning a new language is really fun! You imagine a scene which involves an English word which sounds like the Portuguese word. For example, Octopus is Polvo, hence you have to imagine pulverising an Octopus! It’s crazy but it really works. I started yesterday evening, so it will be interesting to see how much I can learn by the end of the year. I'll keep you posted.

The Incredibles

Here is my mini review of the PIXAR movies ‘The Incredibles’.
Mostly excelllent, with a few pacing issues and the odd old gag. Now that PIXAR are knocking out about one film a year I guess that quality will take a bit of dive, but if The Incredibles is a example of the quality to come then I won't be complaining too much. Score: 7/10

Much Needed Inspiration

What does it mean to be inspired? Angra dos Reis on the Brazilian coast will certainly inspire. Truly beautiful, I felt inspired almost the whole time we were there.

Logo Power

Four weeks ago the Varig logo was just another airline logo, now it has to power to bring a smile to my face!

Oh boy, its cold today!

Way way, below the comfort zone. The trouble is upon my return from Brazil I have a new comfort zone--somewhere between 80° and 90° is just lovely.
